A public library in Oklahoma is closing for Thanksgiving because of a lack of funds.
The Public Library in Oklahoma, located in the city of Oklahoma City, said in a news release that it would not be accepting calls or emails on Thursday.
It was originally scheduled to open on Tuesday, but the city said the storm would force it to shut down early on Wednesday.
The library is located at 901 North University Avenue and is open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday.
The public library does not have internet.
The city of Tulsa has also canceled its regular public library schedule due to the flood, according to the release.
The public library has been providing services to Oklahoma City residents since at least 1917.
