New Brunswick, N.B. — A new library in the capital of New Brunswick is taking advantage of social media to connect with its patrons via a new mobile app.
The New Brunswick Public Library announced Monday that it is launching the Mobile Library and the app is available now.
Users can create a profile and post photos, comments and questions.
The library also said it has a website that allows patrons to upload their library information and a mobile app for local communities to use.
The mobile app features interactive maps and interactive audio guides.
The digital library is part of the library’s partnership with the community to support programs in local communities and the public is encouraged to use the app to connect and find out more about services and services that are available in their community.
The new library also has a social media portal where patrons can post their library or community information.
The app will have a digital platform where patrons are able to post and share their experiences, visit other libraries, and interact with other patrons.
It is expected to launch in the next few weeks.
