New York Public Library is offering a job search for a full-time library assistant, an important position in an aging, understaffed institution.

“Fulton County Library’s library staff is growing rapidly.
The job posting for this position requires an outstanding commitment to supporting our community and providing an accessible and fun experience for patrons,” the job description reads.
The position requires that applicants must be a member of the public and able to complete a minimum of 30 hours per week, with a potential additional 20 hours per month.
The library is seeking candidates between the ages of 20 and 60.
